What is The New York Times’ Real Agenda?
The New York Times reported on Monday what it pretended was new information attacking President Bush that 380 tons of explosives were missing from an Iraqi military facility. NBC News ended the Times anti-Bush attack by reporting that the explosives were already gone before troops arrived at the Al-Qaqaa installation in April 2003.
"The Times, CBS News, and 60 Minutes especially, have proven beyond all doubt that they are nothing more than extensions of the Democratic National Committee and they have no credibility whatsoever. In fact, episodes such as this and the Rathergate fiasco prove they may be even more partisan than the Democratic Party itself," said Media Research Center President Brent Bozell.

Former CBS insider Bernard Goldberg in his book Bias called ABC, NBC and CBS the three big "News Mafia" families. But even the "Big Three" are only the three stooges of The New York Times and The Washington Post. Goldberg said:
"The problem is that so many TV journalists simply don’t know how to think about certain issues until The New York Times and The Washington Post tell them what to think. Those big, important newspapers set the agenda that network news people follow."
The gay movement appears to hold the "newspaper of record," The New York Times, in bondage. NewsMax ran an article about Accuracy in Media’s Reed Irvine’s inquiry into the Times’ bias. Irvine said that Times national political correspondent Richard Berke spoke at a gathering of the National Lesbian and Gay Journalists Association. Irvine said that Berke assured the homosexual group that the Times would remain very receptive to the gay agenda because "three-fourths of those who regularly attend the daily meetings that determine what will be on the front page of the Times the next morning are ‘not-so-closeted’ homosexuals."
The National Lesbian and Gay Journalists Association [NLGJA] according to BreakPoint columnist Allan Dobras “goes far beyond the pages of the New York Times. Speakers, honored guests, or workshop presenters at NLGJA functions read like the who’s who” of media: Dan Rather, Peter Jennings, Tom Brokaw, Harry Smith, Katie Couric, Lesley Stahl, George Stephanopoulos, Barbara Walters, Stone Phillips, Linda Ellerbee Armstrong Williams, and Linda Vester. Other participants have included New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg; Mark Rosenthal, president and chief operating officer of MTV Networks; Jim Kelly, managing editor of Time magazine; Walter Isaacson, chief executive officer of CNN; Anthony Marro, editor of Newsday; Caroline Miller, editor-in-chief of New York magazine; Andrew Heyward, president of CBS News.”

Gay.com’s senior political correspondent Chris Bull in his election 2004 coverage explains why all the National Lesbian and Gay Journalists as well as their friends such as Dan Rather, president of CBS News Andrew Heyward and “three-fourths of those who regularly attend the daily meetings that determine what will be on the front page of the Times” are so anti-Bush. Bull said:
"If gay voters wanted a better champion than John Kerry, they'd have to invent him. The three-term senator boasts a near-perfect voting record on gay and AIDS-related causes, a record virtually unrivaled among national politicians. Kerry has gone far beyond allies who vote with the community but risk little in doing so. He has sponsored federal gay rights legislation dating to1985."
