Is the Pope’s Death a Preparation for the Second Coming?

Is the Pope’s death a preparation for the Second Coming? I don’t know nor does anyone except for God. However, maybe the timing of his death may tell us something.

Zenit reported that the Pope died shortly after the Mass for Divine Mercy was said in his room on the vigil of the Divine Mercy Feast. John Paul II instituted this feast.

St. Faustina in her dairy of her apparition wrote that the Lord said:

“Before the Day of Justice, I am sending the Day of Mercy.”

Do I think the Second Coming is near? I don’t know. But I do know we need to pray with Pope John Paul II for mercy for the ourselves and all seduced by the “ideology of evil” that controls the worldwide “culture of death.”

Terri’s murder proved this, but it also proved there are many fighting on the side of the “culture of life.” In a recent poll it was revealed after her murder that 79% of Americans wanted her to continue living.
